My friends at the interactive agency THE GROOP designed this amazing website for CauseCast, a website about important causes and philanthropy. One of the main issues it covers is animals, of course, which automatically peaked my interest. It’s a beautifully designed site, with many causes to engage anyone who wants to do good.  Please check it out and let’s do something for animals and people alike.

One Reason to Vote For Obama

This is a not my platform for politics, but I would like to encourage those who are undecided but care about the environment and wildlife to vote for Barack Obama. Certainly there are many issues in our country today that need reform such as education, healthcare, foreign relations, human equality, etc. Even as animals (unfortunately) come second before people, we must NOT forget about them. The Democratic ticket’s stance on the promise to address global warming and the path to a cleaner environment will directly impact wildlife and their welfare on earth on both an international and national level. If this is an important issue for you, vote Barack Obama in November!

Earth Day – Do the Earth Some Good

It’s Earth Day 2008. I will say briefly—Be good to the earth, to all its creatures, especially animals on this day, help preserve habitat for them. Because they came before us, for most they are our means to live, eat, to survive. Don’t pollute the air, don’t smoke, recycle as many things as you can, and water your plants—HAPPY EARTH DAY!!!
